Houlton Live joins www.wunderground.com and www.weather.com to provide an image of your favorite downtown hotspot. From now on if you find Houlton, Maine on both of those websites, users will have the option to see an image (updated every 30 minutes) or to go directly to HoultonLive.com. This change is to encourage new visitors to discover what everyone has been looking at all these years! Records of 33 degrees were reported for this day and boy was it cold out there this morning! Also, as some of you might already know, Houlton Live is hosted from PC Sales & Service in the historical downtown market square of Houlton. A small banner was put up at the top of the page so that you may click on it for a quick trip to www.mainepcsales.com and see what there is to offer. Stay tuned and more importantly, stay warm! |

There are a few things that have changed in the way visitors can interact with Houlton Live. Viewing the sites front page, guestbook and forum will always be available to anyone that visits the website, however, posting on the guestbook, or creating threads and replying on the forum will require visitors to create an account. This new system will allow Houlton Live to remain functional and less poluted. To read more on this topic please visit the forums and make sure to read some of the important threads! |

Houltons first snow has come at last! Some of us are excited, most of us aren't. It was a cold 18F with almost an inch of snow. There should be a few pictures showing up on the message boards so keep checking, and please if you have your own to post, don't be affraid to send them our way and we will place them appropriately. |

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is now a weather forecast at the bottom of the Webcam page for those interested. The data is from the National Weather Services and should give an accurate forecast for every 24 hour period. The format can be changed very easily to either a colum or a row style. I think it fits quite well at the bottom with a 5 day forecast! Thanks to Doug King for bringing it to our attention! Stay tuned for other great features as they will be posted on the forums and put on the agenda. |
